Install and configure Forms LT for Joomla 1.0.13
First, please be aware that Forms LT is designed to work exclusively with SerrBizSEF Complete Version 110407. You need to have this component installed FIRST, before installing Forms LT. How do you know what version you have? Easy. If you download SerrBizSEF AFTER November 4th 2007, you have the correct version. If you downloaded BEFORE Nov 4th 2007, you will need to update your version of SerrBizSEF complete.

WeinerMedia.com uses SerrBizSEF for their Joomla Seo and SEFs. Additionally, they use Joomap for their site map, which integrates well with Google Web Master tools. Additionally, WeinerMedia extended their relationship with Serr.biz to assist in moving their Joomla site from a poorly constructed architecture of using Joomla in a sub.folder, to the root level. This is a better choice as all requests to their root level home page were being redirected to the sub.folder. In some instances, this may be preferred, but at the very least you must use a 301 redirect if you want the spiders to crawl you site. WeinerMedia was not doing this and we resolved the situation as well as helped configure their site for optimum search engine performance. In short order, if they continue down the road of search engine optimization such as customizing their titles, meta and body copy for keywords, they should start seeing a rise in the SERPS.

Last week Google updated their algorithms and many sites have seen a massive drop in PR value. Now, in most cases, this is not big deal as PR value is not hugely important indicator of your potential SERP ranking. We ourselves dropped a point but have actually been enjoying a strong up tick in traffic and SERP positioning. In fact, we are now number 2 in Google for Ethical SEO company. In addition to the PR changes, has anyone noticed that Google seems to have also purged it's database of 75% of the pages indexed? Here is an example. If you search for "wine review" there used to be over 35 million pages in the Google index. Now, Google is reporting that there is only 4.4 million pages in its index. For the same term, Yahoo is reporting 114 million pages in it's index. Hmmm. So, what happened? From the outside looking in, it seems they have applied a very strict filer for RUC (readable unique content) and around the net, many "splog" sites and "made for adsense" garbage sites have been complaining about a loss of traffic, positioning, etc. To that, we say, "Excellent!". Now, maybe, we won't see so much junk making it's way into Google. |

SerrBizSEF has been downloaded over 1,000 times since its launch in Sept 07. This is great, and we are happy to have helped so many people with their Joomla SEO.
Sadly, we have also discovered that some people are abusing the GPL license of SerrBizSEF by "hacking the code", removing our copyright and images, and calling it their own. We expected this, however, these people are not buying the complete package. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to continue offering the product for free download. How Joomla and other component developers manage to continually develop a project for free, is mystery. Maybe they have more donations and support. We do not. Either way, we are suspending the FREE version again until further notice.
