In 2001, TopNYCapts.com, a New York City Apartment rental and real estate listing site, was built to explore the then emerging PPC market place via Goto.com (Now Yahoo Search Marketing).  The idea was to find ONE top business in each of the varied sections of New York City real estate (Brokers, AIV, Roommates, Corporate Housing, etc) to SPONSOR the site.  In return, for a nominal percentage of the sponsorship fee's, Serr.biz intended to aggressively market the site through the PPC market for the direct benefit of the sponsors.

Unfortunately the idea never came to fruition due to time constraints on behalf of Serr.biz. However, the core SEO work performed quickly raised TopNYCapts.com into the top positions of the search engines, where it remains today. 

As time permitted, Serr.biz resumed work on TopNYCapts.com and re-focused its primary function into a NYC listings aggregator. Over the years, with intermittent attention, the ranking and traffic have evolved positively. 

Additionally in 2005, we began experimenting with a blog software called B2Evolution.net. Though not as SEO friendly as Joomla, the TopNYCapts.com blog continues to grow and produce about 1,000 unique visits a day/ 30,000 a month.

Also, we converted the property listings into RSS and have enjoyed extremely positive results related to human and spider traffic.
