Recap of Pier 41 Ads Summer 08 Network Event.

The night started at Pier 41 Ads in Brooklyn. To get there, we took the Ikea Water Taxi, after having lunch at a restaurant on Wall Street near Pier 11 in Manhattan.

After an hour of networking with a variety of people such as Jose A. Marquez-Leon from Lista.org, Anna Lin of The Epoch Times, Pete Gersec of Gersmedia.com, Nelson Becerra of Cozmo TV and Jo Ann Fellan of Flowers NYC among many others, the party boarded a New York Water Taxi and took a brief tour around the harbor.  We stopped close to the Statue of Liberty and the Water Fall art installation under the Brooklyn Bridge, then landed at Taxi Beach at Hunters Point.  There, the event turned into a true beach party with a live DJ, food and drink.

Overall, the event was a great success, and we apologize for anyone we had to turn away due to lack of space.  Next time, we hope to have more notice and give all Serr.biz / Pier 41 Advertising customers and readers a chance to attend.
