Get alt text or captions in Joomla's image editor
I want floating text to appear when you scroll over my images, do I achieve this by adding "Alt Text" or "Caption?"

For floating text, go to the Content Edit page (Content > Content by Section > Content Item). If you have already uploaded and positioned an image using the "MOSImage Control" in the right menu, scroll down to "Edit the image selected" and add your desired text to the "Alt Text" section. Once you click "Apply" at the bottom of the image editor and "Save" in the top toolbar, your text should show up over the photo when it's scrolled over.

For a caption, simply add it into the "Caption" box in the image editor. You can also left, right or center justify your words or even place it above or below you image. Click "Apply" at the bottom and you're set.
