Question: When I try to add / change the transaction key of Authorize.net in Virtuemart 1.0.13, I keep getting logged out. Help. Answer: That particular module has some odd bugs that occur with different browsers. We experienced the exact same thing before. The quick fix was to just use IE 7 or 8. It would not work with Firefox. Also, when you do go to change, the system should ask for a password. They are asking for your JOOMLA ADMIN password, not the Authorize.net password. Then, it asks shows a screen for changing / adding the Authorize.net transaction key. Just enter it, and underneath you will be asked for the JOOMLA ADMIN password again. If all goes well, your new transaction key should be seen when you click the TRANSACTION key again. *Note: Though this is a bit cumbersome, it's an important bit of information that is rightly set behind many layers of password protection. |
