How do I remove Generator meta tag?

You can remove the meta generator tag by editing this file root > includes > Joomla.php.

Just comment out this line:
$mainframe->addMetaTag( 'Generator', $_VERSION->PRODUCT . ' - ' . $_VERSION->COPYRIGHT);
