Can I save my Joomla backend log-in

Is there a way to save my log-in information for Joomla's backend access (username and password) so I don't have to re-enter it everyday?


We are not sure why Joomla's Admin log-in currently does not have a "save my log-in" option, or a cookie to save info. However, some Joomla extentions (i.e.: Forums) give you the ability to save your pasword information and stay logged in for a predetermined amount of time - the backend does not. If you logout or restart your browser, you'll have to log back in.

Note - if you have to continually log-in several times a day your browser may have cookie issues.
