Question: when I try to use the media manager and upload new files, the system says the upload was 100% complete, but the image never shows up in the media manager.

Answer: Double check your FTP settings in site > global configuration. Often we find users have not configured their FTP settings properly and double checking this and making sure it works, usually solves the problem.  You might also check the permissions of the folder(s) in question.  Be sure to set to 755.

To change permissions in via Dreamweaver 8 or above, select the folder in the REMOTE VIEW, right click > Permissions.
