Presently, our first advertiser is Anchor NYC real estate in New York City. Anchor has been a long time sponsor of TopNYCapts.com. This new site section is dedicated exclusively to the New York City and metro New Jersey real estate market. During our beta period, we will be inviting hand picked brokers and management companies to establish data feeds of up to 100 listings. These listings will be updated daily. Joomla 1.5 provides substantially improved SEF capabilities by creating SEFs based on the title alias of the menu items, categories, content items. *Section titles / alias, seem to be ignored when creating SEFs.  Instead, the menu item title /alias is used.

This is a clear improvement, but there are still duplicate conent issues.

Since the release of Joomla 1.5, we have wanted to find time to convert Serr.biz. This weekend, we did so. Finally!

Overall, the process went fairly smoothly with the usual types of issues you would expect when converting data from one platform to another. In fact, the process was relatively easy with the "conversion" tools provided during the intitial install.

Recap of Pier 41 Ads Summer 08 Network Event.

The night started at Pier 41 Ads in Brooklyn. To get there, we took the Ikea Water Taxi, after having lunch at a restaurant on Wall Street near Pier 11 in Manhattan.

After an hour of networking with a variety of people such as Jose A. Marquez-Leon from Lista.org, Anna Lin of The Epoch Times, Pete Gersec of Gersmedia.com, Nelson Becerra of Cozmo TV and Jo Ann Fellan of Flowers NYC among many others, the party boarded a New York Water Taxi and took a brief tour around the harbor.  We stopped close to the Statue of Liberty and the Water Fall art installation under the Brooklyn Bridge, then landed at Taxi Beach at Hunters Point.  There, the event turned into a true beach party with a live DJ, food and drink.

Party with Pier41ads and Serr.biz - Tonight 8-7-08

Recently we created a new Joomla website for our client KBRFund.com.  KBRfund.com is a private equity real estate firm that offers unique real estate investment opportunities world wide.  They are located in Hoboken NJ. In a couple of days, we create a new Joomla website along with a custom flash presentation, which achieves the correct corporate brand aesthetic as well as fostering investor confidence.

Urbania.us Launches - Bloggers earn $8 per post
