| Focus on customers, not the competition |

Focus on customers, not the competition. The title for this article came from a article over at Linux News, about Microsoft possibly attacking the Open Source community, Apple possibly leaking misinformation about their new iPhone being late and Google winning at the Liquid Brand Summit. The article was written by Rob Enderle. Focus on the customer, not the competition is something we prioritize at Serr.biz. We also try to coach our clients the same. You see, just because we can assist a client in gaining top position in the search engines, and creating effective SEM campaigns, does not mean a client is prepared for it. Prior to launching Serr.biz, our CEO worked for several small start ups and established businesses. He attained top ten ranking for the companies, and consequentially leads and sales increased. This, so it seems, would be a good thing. However, the companies did not have the infrastructure to handle the surge. Some companies made the appropriate internal change to “focus on the customers”, others did not. One company went so far as to delete 1000’s help desk tickets that flooded in. “If it’s really serious, they’ll create another ticket.” As you can imagine, they do not have very many repeat customers, nor have succeed very well in their industry. You see, word of mouth, not the internet, not the search engines, is the BEST form of advertising. Word of mouth works both ways though. If your customers are happy, they will tell a friend. If they are unhappy, they’ll tell ten people, so the idiom goes. With that in mind, we encourage all serious business owners interested in SEO, and top organic ranking, to ask themselves if their company is ready for the results. Are you ready to handle new business? Are you ready to focus on the customer? If so, then contact us and we will take care of the rest. |
