Adwords site placement ad review

Question:

I have set up a site targeted ad campaign via Google Adwords, combined with search targeted. It's been a week. The search network is showing impressions, clicks, etc. But the content network is not showing any impressions or clicks. What's wrong?

Answer:

In the past, Google sometimes let the content network ads go immediately into an active state, so it seems. However, lately it seems, they have implemented a policy that all ads for the content networks must be human reviewed first. That is their official policy. So, if there is NO impressions, and consequentially, no clicks, I suspect your ads have not been human reviewed by Google yet. If it has been more than 48 hours, then log into your Google Adwords account, and use the contact link. Navigate down to the chat function and explain the issue and ask the Google customer support person to escalate your ad review. So long as it has been 48 hours, they should process your request immediately.
