How do I create a custom form using Forms LT? By default, the ADD FORM option is selected. If we already had a form that needed to be edited, we would select EDIT, then the form. 1) In the CC email, set the email address of who else should receive a copy of the FORM data. 2) In FROM NAME, create a name. We recommend that you use an intuitive name like the content item article. It will be easier to remember what the form is for, if you use an intuitive name. 3) Choose a START PUBLISHING DATE, and an END date. If no end date, just leave blank. 4) Over to right you can choose which FORM FIELDS you want to use. For the purpose of this DEMO, let's just use Email, First Name, Last Name. 5) Back to the left, you can force DOUBLE OPT-IN by using EMAIL VALIDATION. This means the USER will NOT see your final message such as a coupon code, or download link, until they VALIDATE their email address. 6) Choose whether to ADD AS USER or not. If selected, the person will be added to the JOOMLA USER LIST. 7) Choose one or two column layout. The relates to the public display of the form. 8) If you created custom fields in the tab above, you could add them through these options. 9) Now, what's Custom SEF? Forms LT allows you to set a custom SEF for the REGISTRATION COMPLETE page. This is the page people will see AFTER COMPLETING the form. We made this OPTIONAL so you can set Google Analytics GOAL Conversion Tracking. 10) Add a MESSAGE you want to show the user AFTER they fill out the form. Here you can say anything you like, and you can use HTML for linking to downloads, etc. 11) Use 3rd Party Tracking Code: Now, click save.
