AkoComment and SerrBizSEF

At the time of this writing this article (9/17/07), AKOComment Tweaked Special Addition comment component works by using the default Joomla SEFs.

However, the AKOcomment system produces numerous additional URLs for each item a comment is added to if you turn on Favored, Link to Quote, RSS, etc.

This may result in duplicate urls until a custom rule is written to handle the AKOcomment special functions.

If duplicate URLS are concern for you, and they should be, we recommend just using the basic "Comment" function and turning off all special features mentioned above.

Of course, you can always manually create an SEF for the recorded AKOcomment urls, but this might become obscenely time consuming and difficult to mangage. Ultimately, a custom rule should be created.

As for the component itself, we use, and like it very much.  It worked immediately after install with no special adjustments needed. We found the FIELDSET template to be the cleanest, seamless, template to use four our site.
