ToolTip Icon on browse pages

Question: We are porting a VM 1.0 site to a VM 1.1.2 site. All seems to have gone well. We are using CSV import. However, the Tool Tip Icons are showing up on browse pages next to the products. They are showing erronous data. Can't find where to get rid of them. Can you fix this for us?

Answer: We searched high and low for the solution to this. It seems icons show up if there is duplicate product listing in the DB. We tracked the problem back to CSV import. Though the data was formatted correctly in the CSV file and had only one sku per row, CSV Import seemed to cause duplicate entries. This was all very strange as in myPhp Admin, the mySql DB showed only one record, but if we exported via CSV Import, there was duplicates.

To fix the problem we decided to upgrade from VM 1.1.2 to VM 1.1.3, updated the clients version of Joomla 1.5.7 to Joomla 1.5.9, and CSV Import from 0.9 RC1 to .09, then re-imported the data from VM 1.0. This worked. However, there were still some issues with the data being mapped to the wrong categories. This issue has not been resolved, but the DB was small enough that we just manually moved the wrong items to the correct categories.

Note: VM and CSV importer should be worked a bit to stop conflicts before they are live. VM needs better documentation about Tool Tips and how to turn on or off. The manual and forums are serverally lacking.
