Note: You will need to INSTALL the Odoo CRM app first, and set up a TEAM, and TEAM MEMBER if your want to assign the form to a specific team member. In this video, we assume you have done this already.

Hey, it's Mike with SERR.biz and today we're going to connect our contact page form over here, with our CRM, which is in the back end of Odoo. We've already set up a sales team and, a contact, and so now we just need to connect it, and all we need to do is go to, the web page, be in the editor mode, clicked it.I find the easiest way to get the right, Functionality to pop up is to just click submit. And then over here in customization, it shows us the form and it says action. We already have it set to create opportunity. But we could have it do other things. We could say subscribe to newsletter, create a task, send an email. But we want to connect it to the CRM, contact relationship manager. So we select Create Opportunity. And then we can choose which sales team should get this information or which team. You can have customer service, general contact, legal, etc.. In our case we just have sales. So we connect it to the sales and then we can also assign it to an individual. In my case we'll just connect it to me and that's it. Then you hit save. Now let's run a little test. We're going to send it to, myself. Well, actually, we'll just do it as a test. Write, test two and now we'll just hit submit, and it takes us to a thank you page. Right here. And now if we go to the back end of Odoo and we go to the CRM, we can see the new test has shown up right here. And test question. There it is. So now that the lead has been generated, if we go check our email There it is. View Lead. Now it takes me into the back end and here it is. Here's the test I can set expected revenue, probability of closing all sorts of good stuff. And so that's how you connect your CRM to your contact form in the front end of your Odoo website.
